As good as the Drs are when you actually get an appointment it is very difficult to get an appointment and impossible to book an appointment in advance for consistency of care with one GP. As a young stroke victim I really want regular care with a named GP to support and monitor me over the first crucial 6 months of my recovery and beyond in the next few years !
