Impossible to get appointment by phone.Get told to ring from 8 am and nobody answers before after 9 am when appointments are all gone.Reason being is phones are not turned on until 9.The reason patients know this is because of they have to queue outside at 8 am and go to reception ,not to request appointment to see a Dr,this is not allowed but to ask if a Dr can phone you sometime that day.When queuing in the actual surgery,people try phoning and there is no phones ringing because they are turned of. Is it that difficult for the NHS to employ another receptionist to help deal with all this chaos? Getting bloods now,There is one person to take bloods,meaning patients are having to wait two/ three weeks even for urgent bloods? Why are they not employing another band three healthcare to cut the waiting times? .

Suggested improvements
You could employ two band three healthcares.One to help answer phones in the morning while the one receptionist you have deals with booking in a queue of people for a call back.Another to take bloods so patients are not having to wait 2-3 weeks to have their bloods done.
