I always find the reception team are pleasant & helpful and try to be as accommodating as possible. I appreciate some people may not like the triage system but I understand its necessity. My only comment would be that triage and some of the Doctors need to respect patients’ who know their own bodies and when something isn’t right, not dismiss that intuition. We are lucky to have such a modern, clean health centre with a wide range of facilities. Thank you

I have been affected recently by a nasty virus that triggered off my asthma and gave me a nasty throat and ear infection ... over the 2.5 weeks I was ill I saw the dr twice , the paramedic once and had a telephone consultation ... all appts were on the day I called . I can’t praise the centre enough .. we simply do not know how lucky we are. I will add my first port of call was there wonderful pharmacist .. I went to the drs only when over the counter medication was not working Thank you Dr Holdaway was wonderful so was Steve the paramedic

Fortunately, I rarely have to see a GP; however, my good health puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to trying to get an appointment as I have little knowledge of the nuances that it involves. I went in person to the surgery on a Friday and was told to come back Monday which I did; I was then told I had to phone at 10am the next day which my partner did - at 10.06, but she was put on hold for 6 minutes and then when she did get through was told by the receptionist: "Why didn't you phone earlier?" The receptionist then suggested I register for an online appointment. It seems the job of the receptionists is to employ tactics that would have been welcomed by the retreating Russians in 1941. I guess the system is designed to give time for the problem a potential patient has to clear up before seeing a GP.
