Because i don’t come to the doctors very much at all and find it hard to get through for an appointment or cannot get one even when i go into reception so if there is anything wrong I don’t bother as it’s just so hard!

Be able to make an appointment a couple of weeks in advance but I don’t think that’s even allowed. I did sit in reception and a lady was told there were no appointments for that day and go to A&E which I am sorry but it’s not there job!!!

Thank you for your feedback. Our GP routine appointments are usually a 2-3 weeks wait. Once all of the routine appointments are full, patients will have to wait until the next rota is released before we can offer further routine appointments. We do offer on the day appointments, if a patient needs to see a doctor urgently. These appointments are only bookable on the day only from 8am. If we reach capacity on the day, or if a condition is unsuitable for the general practice, the reception team might signpost to other services on advice from the duty doctor.
