What I like about the surgery that help is available. The doctors call you back if you need urgent advice and in case of urgency you can be seeing on the same day. In general everybody is friendly and easy to talk to.
Delay in getting appointments is evident - it has not been a problem for me because my issues are (a) ongoing and (b) not pressing; but I can see it would be for someone with a condition warranting more rapid care. I have felt that this practice needs to have better follow-up systems. The responsibility for follow up to check progress/resolution of abnormalities - laboratory or otherwise - is the practice's, not the patients. My experience is that it is not happening properly. A reliable system to ensure adequate follow up is in my view more important than the general screening for various parameters offered to all patients without consideration of relevance in the individual patient context. It's fashionable but in my view a waste of time and money.
All the doctors, receptionists and nurses have always been very helpful and friendly.
Especially Dr Davey and Ros.
appreciate all the care I've been given over 18 years.
The staff in the reception area are great and helpful to provides good service, but sometimes the non emergency appointments (blood test) are not quick enough! especially if you require them at certain times of the day.
