Just got off the phone with reception staff member after i have been told that my precription is being cut from 14 day supply to 7 days as my annual nurse review is overdue. I booked an appointment to see the nurse but its not until September 7th I asked if my prescription could be left at 14 days until I see nurse in September not a chance I has to be punished for not booking an appointment during covid. I found the staff member at st james medical centre rude unhelpful and set herself as judge n jury. All I wanted is my precription left as it was seeing that I booked an appointment with the nurse. I will be looking for a new GPS and advise others to do same, that is unless they sack or retrain the reception staff who don't know their job is to help, advise and listen to their patients, not blackmail them in to doing what reception staff want.
