It is clear that this surgery is in crisis. The telephone is rarely answered and it is extremely difficult to book an appointment unless you are prepared to wait several weeks. Whilst I was at the surgery today, virtually every patient that came through the door had a complaint or problem relating to poor service. I have been a patient here for 20 years and before the doctor retired Shankill Surgery was a very reassuring presence in the community. Sadly, no more. Read the other reviews on this page - they paint a sad but accurate picture. I would like to move my family from this surgery as soon as possible as it frightens me to think of one of us being ill and having to cope with this level of incompetence. However, due to the max exodus of patients from this surgery, all of the other surgeries in the area have closed their books. What are we to do?
