A very good service.
Great surgery. All the staff, Drs and nurses are kind, helpful and great at what they do.
You never feel rushed by any of the drs and they listen to you, and explain things clearly.
I have been with them most of my life, both here and at their last address and never had a bad experience or reason to complain.
They work hard, and I have the utmost respect for them.
My mother has dementia, and sees Dr Corbett, and we are humbled by how kind and understanding he is.
He puts things in plain and easy to understand manner and is never impatiens.
Trying hard to think of a way to improve, and the only thing I can think of is, to have a BP monitor in one of the waiting rooms. But I know that is hard, due to the limited space.
A1
I was able to get an appointment straight away
and there are a choice of Doctors available ,The receptionist are polite and helpful.I was pleased with the service of care that I received from the doctors and the nurses.
There is a choice of doctors and it has been a relief to build up a family relationship with a number of the surgery doctors over the past twenty five years. One particular doctor actually saved my life with his immediate actions while I was having a silent heart attack in his surgery room. Their care and dedication are beyond the call of duty as in my case they have to deal with multiple complex chronic conditions.
There is also a Muslim doctor which is a huge asset to encourage Muslim women to visit a doctor as there are no female doctors at the surgery and due to strict faith law they would not see a male doctor no matter how ill they were , so in theory this saves patients suffering silently at home when they could be treated in early stages of or onset of conditions that could threaten their lives or health and leaving it too late to seek medical intervention.
All female reception staff always welcoming with one male nurse, one female nurse and one female health care specialist . Wonderful team work.
I called at half past midnight to get an early morning appointment. Regular appointments are weeks ahead, so i always end up using the 'emergency' appointments. I find the whole system very stressful, setting my alarm at night to get a morning appointment disturbs my sleep, which one needs when not feeling well. Also, I never seem able to get anything before 8.40am. I would much prefer an earlier appointment so I'm not too late for work. Reason for awarding 2 stars instead of 1 is that I'm grateful I could be seen the next morning at all.
