If you want to be patronised by a trainee GP, misdiagnosed by GPs who make assumptions about you and can't interpret a simple ECG, and if you want reception staff who make the whole experience unpleasant then this is the place for you. Only the nurses are worth seeing here. It shouldn't be down to the patient to check whether they still need to be on medication 12 months after it being prescribed; it shouldn't be down to the patient to recommend a blood test to check if anything has changed (improved?); it shouldn't be down to the patient to point out that it is not a good idea to be on medication unnecessarily. Patronised? How about being told (when I could barely walk into the surgery) to put a bag of frozen peas on my knee "for the length of an episode of Coronation Street". What?!? The NHS is recommending that you self-diagnose and self-treat these days... that has to be a better option than going here! Believe me, ageism is alive and well at Ruddington Medical Centre!!
