I do find it continuously difficult to get appointments at the surgery. Unless you are able to sit on the re-dial button first thing in the morning and again at 1pm. Not an easy feat with 2 children, work commitments and then school runs. When I do get through to make an appointment it is very very rare I can get a time that is convenient to fit in with children without having to take them out of school. I am grateful my children are not very often requiring to see a doctor.
Having said the above, the care we have received over the past years is great. its just the lack of appointments that frustrates me at times.

Thank you for your feedback. The surgery have some pre-bookable appointments in the morning and the afternoon ahead of time. The rest of the appointments are book on the day from 6.30 am for morning appointments and 13.00 for afternoon appointments. This is to avoid people booking and not turning up for appointments. Unfortunately this means that at these times of the day the phones can be busy. We have a number of patients with children and they all want the after school times which means that it is a particularly busy time of the day.
