I find the doctors here to be quite unhelpful. Answers seem like Google search result #1. 10 months old baby has a 40+ temperature, no tests done just "weather the storm", this after having prescribed me with antibiotics for the chest infection I clearly passed to her. No tests done on me either, just guesswork. Waiting room consistently empty, which on the surface looks good. To me it shows the gaps between appointments to be too long. I expect a GP to be running behind all day because the appointments are crammed in. I have a problem with my back causing me to be almost unable to get out of bed. "Here have a self referral for for physio", no indication of the fact there's a waiting list or how long it is, and no help with the pain while I wait. I'm actually typing this from A&E waiting for my daughter to be seen because I don't trust the advice given to us at Rainworth. I'll be looking around for a new GP because what's the point being on their list if you can't rely on them or trust them.
