Absolutely ridiculous service. Put people at a terrible inconvenience. Queued half an hour for an appointment at 7:30am. No luck. On the phone to get an appointment for half an hour. No luck again. And this has happened 3 times in a row. Need more doctors if they can't see to people!! Porthcawl is only a small town and they can't manage even that amount of people

I can't praise Dr Riley enough. What a fantastic doctor and a credit to portway surgery. My mum is having a tough time with a cancer diagnosis and Dr Riley has made her feel reassured and been there when ever we have needed her. Another amazing Doctor is Dr Janine David both I feel go above and beyond their role and show genuine care. I haven't much to say about the practice as a whole because I have had issues in the past but I do think these doctors deserve a mention. Also to mention we were given a direct number to call and could arrange a doctor to visit the same day so no waiting in a queue for an appointment which has been very helpful

I have been with this surgery for over twenty years and have always found them helpful and caring. I recently became an insulin dependant diabetic and they have been fantastic, with repeat prescriptions for everything I need even though I had to be referred to the diabetic clinic at the hospital, and out of the care of lovely Dr Peter Evans and the staff at south road. I always manage to get an appointment when required. People are so quick to complain these days but credit where credit is due.

This surgery is simply not fit for purpose. I have had an extreme reaction to something two days ago my entire head face eyes and throat have swollen beyond belief. two hours 10 on the phone waiting to get through one morning - nothing left - ditto next morning. Receptionist rude and unhelpful. This is just one example of a bad experience in a long line - SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS SHOWER
