This used to be my doctors surgery until I moved out of the area. After registering at my new doctors surgery I had one simple request; please fax over a copy of my medical history. One month and several days off work wasted later this information still hasn't been sent over. I have been promised numerous times that it has been/would be and yet my new doctors have nothing on file for me. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at this. It is shoddy behaviour like this that give the NHS a bad name. As someone that works in customer service I am quite frankly shocked at the unpleasant tone and attitude I have experienced at the hands of the receptionists at this practice. On a side note, the doctors and nurses are lovely.
The only manner in which the reception staff could give great care would be of they actually started doing their job.
