I recently had a lesion on my arm that, whilst 'probably nothing' the GP took very seriously as a family history of skin cancer exists. Referral to Good Hope Hospital (who were excellent)was made immediately with an appointment within a week when the Consultant removed it there and then and sent it to the laboratory for verification that it wasn't a Basal Cell Carcinoma. Excellent health care!
