I find that the Pentagon Surgery for Maritime Health Partnership is very good. The receptionist staff are all very kind, pleasant and helpful. The Pentagon Surgery is always clean and tidy. Dr Eliza Moldovan is my favourite GP at the Pentagon Surgery. Her care and understanding is superb, Many Thanks

I didn't book the appointment, it was done through the 111 service and subsequently brought forward by the receptionist in the partnership..

There was a mix up over the appointment. I'd had a message for 10am at the Pentagon surgery. Whilst sitting in the waiting room I received a call from a receptionist to say that an appointment had been made gor 10.30am.

Once you actually get an appointment, the surgery is run well, the receptionists are friendly and helpful, and surgery is clean and tidy. Having sat in there observing what the staff have to put up with - they provide such an excellent service in difficult and challenging circumstances.

There needs to be a way to manage patients who waste appointments more effectively. It said that 444 appointments were not attended in the last month, yet I had to wait over 4 weeks to get an appointment. It’s a failing system whereby people who genuinely need the appointments can’t get them or are put off by the hassle it takes to get an appointment, whilst others carelessly waste them. It must be very frustrating for the staff who are struggling to keep the service going.
