Following major surgery, I fully expected follow-up and care from my GP - how mistaken I was, they literally were uninterested. Even the high-level consultant at the hospital in London was shocked that I have not been seen by my GP following such serious surgery.
Park Practice used to be a very hands-on practice, caring for patients with long-term serious conditions but now myself and others feel neglected.
I appreciate there is a 'crisis' in the NHS (isn't there always!!) but I think this practice has bitten off more than it can handle. It spends money employing nurses, 'paramedic practitioners' (LOL!) and even a pharmacist!! How about employing a few more Doctors instead of fobbing patients off to a nurse or 'Health Care Assistant' etc., who can't really do anything meaningful.
