Having been allotted an emergency appointment due to extremely painful muscle spasms and a back problems, I was unhappy at being kept waiting for my appointment for half an hour. Whilst I appreciate that it is not possible to run to a rigid timetable, I do feel that overrunning of appointments by this amount of time is unacceptable. This situation has happened on the last few occasions I have visited the surgery - perhaps the amount of time allocated to each patient could be increased slightly as obviously the current time is not enough.
