I have found on a number of times in the past to obtain an appointment by phone if it just rings and rings it would be beneficial for an answer machine to kick in and inform the patient that they are in a queue etc. otherwise one is not sure if the receptionist is there or not or maybe on the phone.. Also on one occasion I was kept waiting for a specific appointment booked exactly 1 hour. When finally called in there was not even an apology what so ever. This has happened only once to wait that long, However I have had to wait for nearly 30mins and less several times over my designated arranged time in the past and still no apologies forthcoming. This I found to be rude and complacement if it was me the first words out of my mouth would be I am sorry but-----------I now prefer to book online than to listen to a phone ringing. Overall I have found this and the other surgeries very clean , staff pleasant and easy to navigate their services online. Would recommend any way.
