Punctually I use the on-line bookings wherever possible, telephoning inevitably means the dispensing crew have to stop one thing and answer the 'phone. Never-the-less they are always courteous and kind however busy they must be. The text notification scheme is excellent, though in the case of this survey my mobile's tell tale to read the message failed this time. Thus as I study that area infrequently for text messages I only picked it up today, when it was dated 8th Feb. Obviously of no consequence in this instance but for urgent matters I'd appreciate a belt and braces approach to minimize the chance of missing your message. e.g. Text repeats at intervals till acknowledged or an auto 'phone trigger to read one's text. In my experience e-mails are best as I look into them several times a day. For you perhaps again a simple automated standard send message could alert one to reading the mobile 'phones text you've issued ? Overall the introduction of these modern communication systems has greatly improved one's means of retaining touch with the Practice without visiting or 'phoning all of which are time consuming from both sides. Lastly for permanent patients like me needing bog standard repeat prescriptions, I find having to drive to the surgery quite so often to pick them up is a bind. Can you not see your way to issuoing , say, double quantities, because with holidays and so on you do do that ? Regards, mike hallam Rusper.
