Booked to see the nurse and got a quick appointment. The consultation warranted a quick GP opinion which happened whilst I waited in the clinic, GP arrived within minutes, promptly diagnosed the problem and the nurse carried out the treatment on the spot.
The whole appointment was no longer than 20 mins start to finish and the problem diagnosed and treated without the need for further appointments to see each individual element.
And this was not anything too urgent - just a bit worrying.
Surely that's the way it should work, pragmatism cutting through process and red tape.
