The receptionists at the Mounts Medical Centre were very unhelpful and rude and inconsiderate towards my 14 year old son and 5 year old girl. I had clearly stated to the receptionist and manager (Angela) that my son had been in hospital the day before after being at risk of severe anaphylaxis and had been in critical condition. In addition, the doctors at A&E had said that it was a priority for us to go to the GP and get the medication that my son needed. We had tried to book an appointment at 8am but they had declined an appointment even after explaining the situation of my son. We had called at around 15:00 and 15:15 and told them about my son’s issue again but this time they were rude and the receptionist and manager had swore at me and told me to f-off. Also, my daughter needed a check up appointment because of her throat and cough that needed to be checked on. As a result, I am worried for my son and daughter and my BP has risen because of this!

Suggested improvements
Get new receptionists who are helpful and who do not be rude to the patients and are actually considerate about the problems of a patient!
