This used to be a good surgery. Now it is not. You never get the same Dr twice, renovations seem to be constantly taking place so it stinks of paint. They only have 1 good Dr who tries to help. The other doctors, the receptionists & clerical staff are all terrible. They are happy to dish out drugs, particularly for mental health issues, to get rid of you. It's as if they were on commission. But if you want a Dr to listen to you & take care of you & help you - forget it. Try somewhere else.

The doctors nurses and reception staff here a Moorfield house are second to none, they provide a competent caring service which myself and family have much appreciated. One can usually get an appointment without waiting too long and usually if requested with the same doctor. The reception staff are always very helpful kind and reassuring their efficiency along with the whole staff is something to be proud of, I cannot recomend this practice highly enough and if all NHS GP practices were of the same standard it would be commendable. This is a busy practice like most, but never gives that as an excuse for poor service they really do go the extra mile. Thank you to everyone at Moorfield House !

After recently moving to Selby North Yorkshire and registering with a GP Practice there, myself and family have decided to travel the distance back to Moorfield House. I have been a patient there for 55 years apart from the 6 months I changed practice. I can honestly say that the GP's , Nurses and especially the receptionists provide a service that I feel is second to none. I know with all the cut backs and protocol it s increasingly hard to maintain services but Moorfield House have managed to do so, why can't many of the other Medical Centres do the same?. They provide a professional service which still manages to be sympathetic and discreet to the patients needs at every point of contact, with all doctors and staff going the extra mile to help with patients different needs. So from a very satisfied family of returning patients thank you for your continuing excellent service you certainly are a credit to the NHS.
