Every time that I call to Montpelier Surgery to make my appointment over the phone with the ladies on the reception I wonder if I will catch them in a good or a bad mood!??? Is it only me or sometimes they seem very unhappy and miserable? I was trying to make an appointment to see my doctor and check with him my blood test results as I might need a specialist referral, but before having the chance to explain myself properly, the lady on the reception just cut me and said: for blood test results you have to call after 2h o'clock!! (Well I wasn't asking for my blood test results, over the phone!). Also I tried to ask a second question and I felt that I was bothering her, in fact she was just repeating herself (for at least 3 more times), as if I was deaf? Humiliating!! I really understand working facing the public is a real challenge (I've been doing that for he last 10 years) but at the same time it is obvious not everybody knows how to handle it! If I keep going to this Surgery is because Mrs. Jane (the nurse) and Dr Gayton are marvelous, and I feel really comfortable with them.
