A mistake was made but I understand my condition well enough to assert myself and received an appropriate and courteous response.

A shame a mistake was made but we’re all human and I am fortunate to have a health professional background which enabled me to assert myself confidently. I also understand the political backdrop to the lack of NHS resources but wish that more of the public would not believe the carefully nuanced media rhetoric and unrealistic expectations that we put on the NHS. People need more accurate health information instead of private companies promoting unrealistic expectations of perfection and ever lasting life! We all need to realise how fortunate we are and that we have to take responsibility for our lifestyle choices. I also recognise that life is also a true trial for some especially given the current levels of inequality

I rang the surgery in a very distressed state saying I felt worthless.I was asked if it was an emergency ! & there were other places I could ring

The receptionist I feel needs training how to handle calls like this. Maybe some training on mental health problems. I do appreciate the stresses & strains working for the nhs as I’m a nurse myself. However this needs addressing asap as that particular day I was having suicidal thoughts & clearly distressed

I have been at this surgery for 54years and in my eyes it is by far the best . Doctors care ,receptionist are very nice and pleasant . Building is clean .but because of the covid things have got a bit difficult getting an appointment. But that’s every where I suspect .
