I had emergency treatment at Doncaster for seriously cut fingers with circular saw, the surgery for repair/ stitching was eventually done 5 days latter, that is the back ground. I was told by minor injuries unit at Doncaster that my dressings would need changing next day, and I had an option to go back in to Doncaster or to Mexborough I went to Mexborough, I was made to feel unwelcome 3 times I was told I should have gone back to Doncaster for redressing, and it was until I said I would leave to go back to Doncaster that they said they would do it. It’s iether part of the same health authority or not.

Minor injuries dept at Doncaster where right to give me the option to attend Doncaster or Mexborough or they were not. The nurse at Mexborough was right try to send me away because They where not responsible for redressing my wounds previous day dressed at Doncaster, Both can’t be right, and being polite to staff is extremely important, but that should extend from staff back to patients.
