Today, Thursday 7th September, I had to wait 40minutes to see the receptionist. The other patients behind me had to wait even longer. The queue grew longer and longer, becoming 15 by the time I was seen. Why? Because a member of staff from Cohens pharmacy spent the time reading out a long list of names for repeat prescriptions. Most were name only. Some included specific, additional information. To the credit of the receptionist and the Pharmacy person, they did not chat about anything else, but stuck strictly to the business at hand.
Suggestion for this age of IT communications: email the list and any queries that arise!
