Share review of Mexborough Health Centre

We are currently reviewing the situation for access to appointments, but wondered if you were aware that some appointment slots can be booked online, without the need to telephone. If you wish to register for this service please contact the surgery. Two of the ideas which we are considering are to make more appointments available to book in advance, and assessing the viability of a telephone booking system, which would release various appointments throughout the working day, but can be used on a 24 hour basis. We now have a nurse practitioner who can treat minor illness, and is qualified to prescribe antibiotics and simple pain relief. She can also request hospital investigations and make referrals where necessary.
