Appointments currently bring booked for 5 weeks in advance. Consultation is rushed when you do get an appointment. Patients are relying on the out of hours service offered in Swindon, this should not be happening. Incorrect diagnosis/referrals. Service is below satisfactory. The doctors are all lovely, however I can see a steady decline over the 12 years I've been a patient. They're over stretched and in my opinion the surgery is in crisis. I've seem people given over 6 months worth of sick notes over the phone as appointments just are not there. This in turn is creating a number of work capable patients claiming benefits rather than working.
