I had an appointment arranged with Dr Carty last Friday to introduce myself to him and West End practice as I had to register with a local practice after 49 years of excellent treatment with my former GP practice.. Dr Carty was very courteous and kind to me as a new patient and it was very helpful that he already had received my medical notes on his computer from my old practice. Consequently he could zap over a repeat prescription to my pharmacy for my medication. As he saw that my annual MOT is due early summer, he noted this on the computer. I hope this good service will continue. I left the completed paperwork to sign into the Patient Access at the practice as I find this a very convenient way to make appointments, request repeat prescriptions and check all my medical details.
