After being asked to call the surgery by my gp I rang and was told to call the following week at 8am when my gp would be present, I started calling at 8am as instructed , it was permanently engaged due 20 mins then I was placed 29 in a queue , 45 mins later I get connected and I’m told that all telephone appointments are taken and there are no bookings available for the next few weeks ! And try again tomorrow

Suggested improvements
After reading some other reviews my experience is not an isolated incident.. maybe having an email address to email your gp like many other surgeries have, could be an option at least your gp would actually know that her patients are making the effort when asked to make a appointment etc., with them and how the staff in their practice treat patients as it’s not always with the patience and respect they deserve .. I actually don’t need them to tell me that they have been answering the phone since 8 am .. as actually that is what they are employed to do
