I cannot understand that while I am being treated, both by surgery and the hospital, I am on call to a receptionist who cannot arrange an appointment for me even though I explaining my severe pain and distress. Told I MUST phone at 8.00am in the morning and join the queue. Last time I did this I was about 18th in the queue. This is not helpful in any way.

Suggested improvements
I do not ask for an appointment unless absolutely necessary but I am having severe pain and concerns. Yet I cannot book an appointment. To spend 40 mins in the morning is unacceptable. What about those who work? May I say, however, I have nothing but praise for the care and treatment I have received with the practise. The method for booking appointments is very very poor.
