it's ok nurses are great and most doctors are nice . Some are less helpful thank others but overall experience was good.

It is usually expected that you go to a GP and get listened to and looked at properly. This GP rushes the appointment and doesn't check you in great detail, almost as if to get you out of the way for the next appointment. The nurses and doctors don't take you seriously and act as if they understand your problem better than you. I've tried to explain a problem and they dismiss it. I've even seem them search things on google to get a diagnosis!! I could do that at home!

Because it's hard to make an appointment on the day because getting kids ready for school takes priority my husband and I tend to leave our minor things until they become accute and then just go to local walk in centre on sat am. Would rather just go to an open surgerh at leacroft and take chance on how longwe'd have to wait.

Were you involved enough in decisions made about your care and treatment? - I have a different doctor/nurse every time I visit, there is no 1 on 1 care. I have been in multiple times with problems to be dismissed and told I am fine. So I eventually get taken to hospital and given the care I need and deserve. The internet tells me more than these lot! Were the receptionists helpful? - They are the most rudest and patronizing receptionists I have ever dealt with. Watching them at the surgery talking to patients is like watching Jeremy Kyle. Is it easy to get an appointment (either by telephone and/or at the surgery)? - Once you do get through, you're pretty much laughed at, what a ridiculous request at 08:15AM!!! Were such a big inconvenience. Do something about it NHS.
