It is difficult to even get an appointment in this place. Either they don't answer the phone, and if they do you have to wait a long time. When you do eventually get through you are told they are fully booked and to ring back the next day. It seems like they are trying their best not to give you an appointment. They don't let you prebook for the next day because they are fully booked. So good luck trying to make an appointment in this place.

IT IS REDICULOUS TO GET AN APPOINTMENT THIS HAPPEN TO ME IN ALL OCCASION, EVERYTIME I CALL TO SEE A DOCTOR IT SAYS FULLY BOOK AND WHEN I ASK TO PREBOOK ME I WAS ADVICE THEY DONT ALLOWED PREBOOK BUT RATHER CALL ON THE DAY BUT WHEN YOU CALL ON THE DAY ALWAYS SAYS FULLY BOOKED I CANNOT GET A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT. I BEEN WANTING TO SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT MY HEALTH PROBLEM BUT I CANNOT GET THROUGH. I WAS ADVICE TO GO TO EMERGENCY IN CRAWLEY HOSPITAL AND I WAITED FOR 7 HOURS JUST TO ADVICE ME TO SEE MY GP. NOW HOW CAN I GET TO SEE A DOCTOR? I WOKE UP EARLY AS 7:30 AND START PHONING THEM 10 MIN BEFORE 8 IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT BUT STILL UNSUCCESSFUL. I DONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN I WAS IN GOSSOP GREEN SURGERY BUT THIS SURGERY IS REDICULOUS IN APPOINTMENT. SOME OF THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY BUT THERE ARE SOME THAT ARE MEAN AND UNFRIENDLY SPECIALLY THE ONE WHO TOOK THE CALL.

The main problem with this surgery is the appointment system, They want everyone to phone at 8:00 am where some times you will be on hold for more than half hour where to find out there aren't anymore appointments. after that they'll say that one of the Doctors will call us whitin that day and expect us to stay by the phone from 8:00 - 17:00 and if we miss that phone call we have to go through the same process all over again on the next day. But the good thing these days is they have changed the phone no to a local no before it use to 0847 were we get charged for calling. But another thing which I also like to mention is its not only in the mornings it's hard to get through to them the other day around 3pm I waited for more than 45 mins were I got fed up with it and got in to my car and drove up there. So kindly request to revive the appointment system and make the necessary changes. Specially with the call back system some sort of time gap would be nice, because we also have other things to do. But I also like to mention that all the doctors there are really lovely and helpful.

Firstly, I would really have liked to have had an opportunity for a 'pen and paper' approach to feedback - as it is often the case that, once you get home, you forget to respond. Having said that, after a year of this surgery being closed, and all that entails, I really do (unusually for me!) feel the need to take the time/feel the need to make an effort to respond. I would really hope that this message gets back to 'Lynn the nurse' who has, over the last few months, given me advice on HRT, taken smears that others couldn't manage, etc, etc. I would just like to give praise where it is due - Lynn is really down to earth, approachable, empathetic and makes me feel that I can be really honest with her. So, just wanted to say - THANK YOU LYNN! Linda Jones (dob: 24/08/65)

Leacroft is as usefull as a morgue. It's impossible to get an appointment due to the surgery more concerned in reaching government targets that patient care. Technology today allows you book an airline flight days in advance but you can book an appointment to see a GP "because the system (booking software) doesn't work to make appointments in advance" is was informed by reception. And, they can only make appointments over the phone not in person (?????) Some of the GP are generally fine when you get a chance to see them, usually by which time you are better anyway! Some however, don't listen and are eager to get you out before you've even explained your symptoms. Whilst, I sympathise with the pressure surgeries face around the country, very little seems to be done in resolving this issue moving forward. It's all about numbers and very little in attending to patients.
