Average waiting time at their walk-in surgeries is 2.5 hours - OK, that's a guess based on the fact that I've always waited around 3 hours but assume people who queued all night probably waited less. No, it's not possible to get an appointment - other than one in 4 weeks time.
I really think you could find a computer software system that would allow people to phone and get an appointment, so they could do something more useful with their morning than sit in a doctors' surgery. Other surgeries have it!
(Once you actually get into see a doctor, it's all good.)
