The nurses and doctors are great but the receptionists not so much. I feel like I am really inconveniencing them when I need to pick up medicine or speak to one of them. The other morning I was there for a blood test and they were stood around talking so I asked if I could pick up a prescription. I was glared at and the sign asking to collect after 10 am pointed at. I said I understood that but they weren't taking calls so please could one of them look (there were 3 of them). Also medicine was ordered on Patient Access early on Tuesday morning but apparently it had only been put through on Friday. I don't know the whys and wherefores of this system but if the turnaround is 24 hours then something is going wrong somewhere. The other thing that is not about service but impacts on a visit to the surgery is the car parking. By the time the doctors, nurses and staff have all parked there are about 2 spaces left and one disabled so when you turn up you have to find alternative parking. Obviously the car park can not be made any bigger but could the reception staff park off site somewhere to free up some spaces?
