Receptionists are less than helpful a lot of the time, one might say obstructive on occasion. I have frequently been given false information re the GPs , ie; claiming not to know if a doctor has rang me or wants to speak with me. On one occasion sending my daughter to A&E then subsequently being told by A&E that they shouldn’t have sent her there when the doctor would have been sufficient.
