With todays modern technology it is simply unacceptable for this practise to make it practically impossible to simply obtain a repeat insulin prescription which is what they do each and every time. Today I have made 4 telephone calls, firstly to the chemist to find out if they have received the script which was ordered online on the practises website, they had not, secondly to this practise only to be told that it was sent electronically (they have never done this before), thirdly to the pharmacy again to insist that they find it but it couldn't be found, fourthly back to the doctor to be told once again that it is not there problem as it was sent. Just driven in my lunch hour from Hounslow to Kew pharmacy to be told that unfortunately it seems the surgery has made a mistake and it was not sent, so guess what, no insulin today.
