I called 4 days ago wanting a gp appointment., i was informed i needed to speak to a nurse. After the nurse triage she informed me the GP would call in 4 days time at a given time. The day of the appointment i was awaiting a telephone call consultation. The phone rang 3 times and when I got to answer it, the GP hung up. I tried to call back, had no luck. I then called the practice again and they advised me the GP will call you back. I waited over 2 hours, i did not receive a call. I got fed up so i called the practice again and a different receptionist answered I explained what happened and she said I will have to speak to the nurse first and she will call me in about 1-3 hours time. No call came through. This practice is poor. They have wasted my time. I don't believe this practice takes into consideration patients interests or patients safety and there constant discrepancy between staff as to what needs to be told to patients. When you visit them in person regarding appointments, the reception staff are incredibly rude and dismissive and will not be willing to have a conversation with you in person. Very unhelpful. To make an appointment they only open the appointment books a week at a time, the response is always ' you have to call during that week'. This is not how you run a practice. I don't feel safe with them. I would expect healthcare workers to look out for patients, unfortunately this practice is far from it. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone. Its is incredibly poor. The owner of the practice needs to seriously reconsider his/her priorities and consider training staff better

Suggested improvements
Have more patient friendly staff. Receptionists need to be more helpful and dismissive and rude. Attempt to call patients back if the phone was not answered. Show patients you care.
