The receptionist I spoke to when I telephoned asking for an appointment was very unhelpful. She was unable to offer me an appointment for that day and the questions I asked were answered with a "no". She didn't attempt to offer me an alternative option or offer me an appointment for the next day. As I suspected I had an ear infection I had to go through a painful and uncomfortable night. As a local resident and patient of this surgery for some 50 years and someone who doesn't go to the doctor without good reason I was very disappointed with this particular receptionist's attitude, unfortunately I don't know her name. It can be very difficult to get through on the phone in the mornings and this also can be frustrating when feeling unwell without the unfriendly and unhelpful attitude of some of the reception staff.
