The final question about appointments is impossible to answer sensibly. We have the most brilliant Walk-in Surgery, which means we see a doctor of our choice on the day we need to. No waiting for a non-existent appointment, or even for the '48 hour' NHS target. It couldn't be better. So, assuming that our 'appointment' is made the moment we register at reception, the answer is "YES" - really, really easy!
