Immediate action and very helpful GP, Dr and nurse at this surgery.
Dr Adams is very thorough and takes time to listen, always supportive and caring.
Doctors are attentive and listen.
If one doctor has a queue forming and another has no one, suggest moving patients over.
Quite frustrating when waiting for more than 45 mins for new patients to come in and be seen before you.
The fact that there is no requirement to make an appointment to see a doctor, a true 'walk in' service during surgery hours. There is a very good chance of seeing your preferred doctor (waiting time variable), otherwise another available GP. Don't expect to be seen immediately, but it can happen. Again, waiting time is variable, all depends on how many other patients are there plus how many doctors on duty.
Currently on line I can only find the GP's roster (days & times they are on duty) for the 2 weeks in May when the system was introduced . I think it would be useful if this information for the current and following week could be published online.
I have seen three different doctors over 3 years and each one has been very helpful and reassuring. Likewise the nursing staff.
My husband visited Dr Collins on 19/4/17 with a chest infection. She reacted very quickly by 11:15 we were at Frimley A&E. by 12:15 he was being seen by the Chest experts and by 1:15 he had had an IV antibiotic and was being offered a hospital bed.
Dr Collins told him that if he had come later in the day he would have been so bad he would have needed an ambulance.
We are very grateful for her quick response. AND
We value even more then before the "Walk-In System" - if he had waited for an appointment as at other surgeries the consequences could have been dire.
