I find it difficult to be telephoned by a GP when I am at work (embarrassing to discuss health in front of colleagues) or when driving. The change to the triage system (even after Covid) and the necessity to justify the request to make a face to face appointment is particularly hard for the elderly and those hard of hearing. Older patients may be unable to use Zoom or similar and direct contact with their GP is often necessary to both their physical and mental health.

Suggested improvements
Maintain the personal touch. It is important to know your GP and have confidence in his/her judgement. Unfortunately this is not achievable online or by telephone.
