The doctors are fine - medical care has been good, and when important conditions require attention we've had it. One of the doctors caught an important medical problem and I am grateful for that. However lately there have been numerous, ongoing problems with appointments and prescriptions. I will tell the receptionist the purpose of my planned visit (an example: I wanted to have an IUD removed and to discuss pregnancy planning with a doctor) - and upon arrival the person seeing me is not able or prepared to do that....I have to make another appointment. Lately we've had an issue with a prescription for a family member that has required 3 separate visits and a telephone consultation with the doctor. Actually that consultation never happened...when I asked the receptionist on Monday why I hadn't received the planned call from the doctor on Friday night she said that he'd "gone home early." Have been a patient for years here and stay as I can get an appointment and the doctors are good. But reception staff are consistently clueless, disorganized and unaccountable to patients. I get things like "oh, that'll be the doctors mistake, not a receptionist mistake" (I really don't care, I just want it to be dealt with, please.) Or we'll bring a form or document in and then the copy will be lost...requiring yet another visit to the surgery. The impression is disorganization and complete lack of respect for patient time. It's immensely frustrating.
