Share review of Herschel Medical Centre
The telephonists are rude. When you work in healthcare you need to have empathy and treat patients with respect. There is one particular person that is extremely rude and has no right to speak to anyone like that, making decisions on your behalf. They are not medically trained to advise you whether you need to see the GP or not.
I dont need to discuss my medical issues with them. They are trained to assess the nature of the call and that's it.
Suggest additional customer service training.
Working in healthcare for over 16 years myself. I know how precious the GPs, nurses time is and would not waste their time by calling for an appointment if it was unnecessary!!!
Some of the reception staff are pleasant.
Overall a really good surgery.
Some staff need additional training.
