The need to phone on a following day to secure an appointment

Is it not feasible to create an IT solution to avoid the need for patients to ring again the following day to secure a slot with a GP? Surely better for the reception and prospective patient alike.

Didn't liaise with receptionists. Very helpful asthma nurse who listened and gave excellent advice.
