I have been a patient at Hawthorns for over 20 years and have no complaints whatsoever. My only worry about my surgery is the difficulty in making an unexpected appointment. When you feel ill it is a real effort to manage to get through on the phone. Once you get through usually all appointments are gone. You then say yes it's an emergency so that you can see someone that same day. Those emergency appointments need to be kept for just that. But when you know you need to see someone that day you do what you have to do. It feels wrong.
