I am the carer for my wife who has Alzheimers, and she was very distressed due to severe incontinence and our pharmacy told me to see a GP, so I called. in the sugery and tried to arrange an appointment as I was struggling to cope. The receptionist heard half my storey and announced no appointments available, phone 111, or visit at 8.30am every morning until you succeed, which is impossible for me as I have to prepare my wife for the day due to her condition, and phoning at 8.0am is a joke as all appointments had gone by 8.05. Sorry we can't help she said as she was applying her lip balm. We are in our eighties, not asking for immediate attention, just an appointment at some future date.
