The worst GP practice I have ever experienced. Looks like GP's have found a convenient way to keep patients away by creating a booking system where they have made sure that it will never be reachable. The calls are limited to only 10 patients queuing up and the 11th patient that calls will be told to call another time. The worst thing is that they don't pick up the phone for the patients in queue resulting in anyone else getting a call back message. I have tried calling 100 times in the 1 hours window they give from 08:30 and kept getting the message to call back. It is not just difficult to call during appointment hours but anytime during the day due to the number of people they limit that can queue. I have waited for 2 hours to get through during anytime in the day and only to be told that they have no slots available. I think this service is not a life saving but a killing machine for patients registered with them. The reason for such behaviour lies in the fact that GP's get paid by the number of people registered with them and not on contact. So they are making their 100's of thousands of £s even when they see only 10 patients in a day or don't see anyone at all. Please send a letter to their complaints and copy the health board so that this appalling behaviour does not result in people loosing life.
