Very rude staff. I rang to book an appt in 3weeks time to see gp. Was abruptly told "she" (receptionist) can't book appts anymore. I have to ring at 8am along with 6000 other people to get an appt for that day. No future appts. I have cancer. Lung cancer. And I can't get to see my gp. I can't book an appt at 8 am and get to it that day. I need time to get myself ready for said appt. I am an online patient with the surgery, but I never received any info saying they changed the appts rules. What a pain. Gone are the days when we can see a gp. My oncologist tells me to contact my gp if I have issues, but with receptionists like the one who spoke to me was rude. If they would have informed their patients of the change no wonder she has people ringing up all the time. I have always had superb service from gt. Oakley for all of 40 years. Now not so sure. Hmmm

Suggested improvements
Put out online the change. Make up your minds, do we see a gp or the specialists to get treatment. Plus calm your receptionist down. If not like role don't do it
