I'm sorry that you feel you need to give us negative feedback. No patient should have to wait for five weeks for an appointment here at Great Bentley Surgery. Our records show that the average appointment wait for a non-urgent appointment has never been over 3 weeks over the last few years. It's also very strange that you say you were prescribed an item that was not available in this country. Our GPs only prescribe from a set approved local NHS medicine formulary. Could this item have perhaps been prescribed at a Hospital rather than initiated at this surgery? Your point relating to being told to call another number, was perhaps the dedicated prescription line? We have this dedicate line so that patients' can speak to a fully trained prescription issuer, rather than a receptionist, so that they can have more complex queries answered more quickly and accurately. Finally, rather than visit the walk in centre who will not have your medical records to hand, it would be better to contact me personally, so that I can look into your issues and get them resolved as soon as possible.
